I'm back again at 49 seats... Cos of husband's craving and I miss their fries too! But no more cheese fries today... Too much for our stomach to contain.. go in bigger group like 4 and order cheese fries to share!

Punggol Park, as it name suggests, its very misleading, thinking that its located at Pungol… but actually its a Hougang! its abt 20 mins walk from Hougang MRT

Intension was to try the food here, Five &2.. but was too long a wait even after waited half an hr in the waiting list.... there is both sheltered enclosed and open sitting with the pond view
they take reservations too! so better to make reservations before heading

was on the way to Clarke Quay Central from City Hall but foot and walked past the Singapore River.. because of COVID-19, theres no boat rides and its so quiet

Take time, slow down your pace and walk along the Singapore River, where music and lightings are off... You will see how nice and peaceful this place is

home cooked western food PORK CHOP W MUSHROOM SAUCE + MASH POTATO + BROCOLLI

Another day of home cooked western food, pork chop w mushroom sauce + mash potato + broccoli cos another crave for mash potato from my husband again...

improved version of mash potato from last week's... this time, we had 4 potatoes and 125ml of milk

its quite easy... so give it a try!

how to make mushroom sauce
pan-fry sliced 200g mushrooms.. im using button mushroom, dish out

in low heat, melt half a tablespoon of butter in pan and add (200ml milk mix with 1 tablespoon of flour)
stir, add salt + pepper + turmeric powder (optional) till mixture is abit thickened

add mushrooms in and mix well

and its ready to serve!
