wanted to eat Aston, but Aston is forever long q!!! Yes, was number 18 in the q... Looking across is this is Jap restaurant.. so we decided to give it a try

Short q but waiting time is quite long.. food waiting time is ok and I must say the staff are friendly.. ya greeting every customer and offered extra chair for bag

Food looks nice ya but find it so so

Sakura ebi & chashu curry tsukemen @ $17.90++

Curry is served separately.. so will have to dip the dried ramen into the curry

I like the ebi!

curry is not spicy but oily

ramen is more chewy compared to soup

Special black truffle flavour @ $17.90++

soup is quite bland... But there's the very strong smell of truffle! Yup, maybe the black garlic will be better

Chashu also so so...

noodle is slightly too soft

Can add on salmon sashimi 5pcs @ $5++ for every ramen ordered

Hmm, my husband says so so only.. yaaa and his expression shows it all...

Not really of our liking... Yaaa but still there's ppl eating too!

we are back again for Vietnamese food! After quite awhile..

Here's what we had..

I had the same rice vermicelli with grilled lemongrass chicken @ $7.50, my all time favorite

I like the rice vermicelli! It's really nice! Especially with the sauce, abit of sweet, sourry, spicy

Chicken is nice too! But lemongrass is not very strong.. like it sprinkled with roasted chop peanuts 😋

Rice vermicelli with grilled pork @ $7.50

Pork chop is a whole piece with the bone...

My husband likes it but I prefer lemongrass chicken... Feel the pork is too dry and hard

Not sure if it's a different chef, noodle is lesser but more meat, bean sprouts and chopped peanuts

Portion is not very large but value for money

No GST or service charge

Shop is rather small with open space sitting.. and they had expanded to another shop space... Yes more sitting space available 😁

an halal Italian restaurant that serves pizza 🍕, pasta and some main course + desserts!

all the pasta and pizza 🍕 are unique which can't be found easily in other restaurants or cafes.. we are for the 2nd time...the food is nice so is the price lah haha

Napolitana @ $19.90++

very nicely baked crust with anchovies, capers, olive, mozzarella cheese + tomato🍅 sauce

bread is very special! Not the thin crispy crust but taste abit like baguette 😋

compared to the previous pizza we had at pizzakaya, bread is more special but this is nice too!

size is quite big, good for sharing.. too much for a small eater

Pollo Diavola @ $21.90++ 

very well seasoned spring chicken.. said to be marinated with herbs and chilli for 24hrs.. not the fried chicken type (spring chicken gives me tt impression)

meat is soft and tender.. waiting time is ok, slightly longer than pizza 🍕 mild spicy and it comes with salad, roasted baby potatoes and a special sauce which is spicy

baby potatoes are nice!!!

we finished the food, but will not have enough space for desserts alr... their dessert is nice too!

I like the rice vermicelli! not the transparent type where we see in Chinese dishes.. it's not too soft nor chewy and the sauce makes it nicer.. abit of sweet, sourry, spicy

chicken meat with flat noodle soup @ $6.50

soup is nice, kind of peppery with chicken slices and flat noodles

shop is rather small with open space sitting.. so check the weather before heading!

Singpost Centre is so much less crowded than PLQ, but whenever we go, Aston is forever long long q...

This restaurant looks good with a queue too so we shall give it a try
this restaurant combines of 3 stalls.. Tenderfresh, Warong Kim, Ah Boy Popiah
serving a wide variety such as Fried Spring Chicken, Popiah, Hokkien Mee, Nasi Lemak, Pasta, Carrot Cake....

and we chose these 3 dishes

of so many choices, we chose these to try.. seems like nasi lemak and spring chicken is the popular dish... i see most table has either one

tom yum nasi lemak @ $10.90+
served with a drumstick, half an egg, peanuts, ah za and coconut rice.. chicken is tender with mild spicy tom yum sauce but I guess there's msg in this dish 😔

ok picture looks great, but I don't really like it... 

filling (turnip and some egg) is so soggy... doesnt have the crunchiness of the turnip

Peanuts and sauce is only what you see at the top.. prefer those I get from coffee shop

Carrot Cake @ $6.90+ looks really special! But it's really carrot cake presented in this special form... I like the chilli though and the other is topped with cheese cream

yes, the inside is normal carrot cake with egg, coated with "skin" pan fried

its Christmas Eve and its crowded everywhere!

so we came to Kucina, a halal Italian restaurant located at a quiet mall.. Kinex

they serve mostly pasta, pizza 🍕 and some main course.. pizzas and pasta are not commonly found in other restaurants and cafes..

so many that we wanted to try... but theres limitation to our stomach.. so we had finally chose

Gamberi Germolata (Aglio Olio w prawns and anchovy lemon 🍋 sauce) @ $21.90++

4 choices of pasta is available.. and we chose my favorite linguine  

its not dry with lots of olive oil and pasta is just nice, not too hard nor overcooked

with the zest of lemon... makes this dish special!

Pizzotto @ $21.90++

a very nicely baked crust with turkey bacon 🥓, mushroom 🍄 and a sunny up 🍳 with tomato 🍅and mozzarella cheese 🧀 sauce

size is quite big, good for sharing... too much for a small eater like me

bread is very special! its not the normal thin crust but has the taste of baguette and bit of charcoal smell.. (its not oven baked?)

yuzu lime kucito @ $9.90++

nice drink.. fuzzy, lightly sweet and sourish, very refreshing drink

theres quite a number of nice desserts too!

hot chocolate lava cake with a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream
