this is a must order! we got this to share among 6 of us out of goodwill of a friend...
the fries is hot and goes so well with the cheese! once you start eating, you wont stop! especially if you are a cheese and fries person!

Smoked Duck Aglio Olio Pasta
this dish was for my sis, she's a duck fan...
all of us feels its so-so only...
personally I find it abit too salty and oily

Chicken Chop with 2 portion of Veg Salad
yes, its a "on-diet" friend... tt explains the 2 portion of veg salad

Chicken Chop with Fries and Mash Potato
this is also one of the must have!
chicken is so tender with the mushroom brown sauce.. im definitely going to order this again when I come the next time
the fries is as nice too! mash potato I should say its normal, not really but fantastic, abit dry though

Salted Egg Tom Yam Pasta
the spicy level is so high!!this friend claimed that he can take spiciness and so daringly he ordered this and he surrendered.. ate half of it and sweated so badly..so do think twice before taking up the challenge!

Pork Knuckles Pasta
I didn't have this myself so I can't comment much but according to a pork knuckles fan, its average, don't have the wow or yummy effect

I had the pork burger, served w fries and greens

Burger bread is lightly toasted w butter.. Abit of crispiness however have it while it's hot! As it's crispiness does not last till the end
The pork batter is mentioned to be homemade and yes the texture and chewiness is just right.. PORK BURGER is a must try!

Rmb eating their fish&chips few mths back... It's nice too! Consider giving it a try

no GST or service charge! Yes, the price you see on the menu and tt is it!

woke up today thinking of a Hakka restaurant I went few months ago at Johor Bahru (JB)

客人來 客家小廚 Restoran Ke Ren Lai if were to direct translate it means "guest is here" ! 

this is "abacus" made of yam, fried with dried shrimp that makes it taste better

its chewy, and not too hard

this is my favorite! Thunder tea noodle! Yes, they have both rice and noodle. This is a must try! Especially for thunder tea lovers.. The thunder tea soup is very rich in taste, so much more compared to Singapore. Yum yum 😋

I know that Thunder tea is either a love it or hate it! I cant accept the taste of it at the beginning too! but due to the limited choice I have during my work at an industrial park many years ago, I ate it a few times and slowly began to accept it and now, I do crave for them!!

if you do read up, there are quite a number of health benefits from eating thunder tea --- lowering cholesterol, improve digestion, low in fat and high fibre, etc

Review: they are nice dessert! Soft pancake topped with vanilla ice cream, drizzled w berry sauce (depending on flavor), sprinkled with chopped nuts and lastly accompanied with fruit (depending on flavor)

This is another flavor which I didn't get to try... Banana Walnut

My sis get to tried all 3 flavors, she said this wasn't nice... A bit tasteless.. so may not be able to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ubud palace is just beside the Ubud market but cannot enter
then drive to BAGUS PIZZA for dinner
   -nice and cheap pizza $4 a pan + milkshake $3+-
Wall back to hotel
Shop and Coco supermarket just 2 shops away from hotel

DAY 2 SATURDAY

0930 left campuahan ridge walk for Tegalalang rice field
Abt 5mins ride to Bali Putina coffee plantation @ 11am
   -luwak (kind of cat) shit coffee bean coffee
   -free coffee and tea tasting
Left @ 1215 for kintamani volcano and mount batur
   -buffet lunch w volcano view
   -food average.. lots of housefly!!
Drive further will get better view of the volcano, mountain batur and the lake
Abt 1+hr drive to keramas beach (black and shinny sand) nice beach to walk on
30+mins drive to tegenungan waterfall
   -many steps to take to reach waterfall.. few photo spots
