ROASTED POTATOES homecook

my first attempt on roasted potatoes, and it was a success! And also the first time I'm using Korea veg! Always watched Korean dramas and I finally get my hands on some fruits and veg from kFreshZone .. fresh ingredient indeed!

was rather easy to prepare but it takes quite abit of time on roasting

preparation time was abt 5-10mins...
cut washed baby potatoes,
tossed them with salt, pepper and olive oil
placed them in pre-heated oven with aluminum foil
and you are done with preparation!
set oven to 200degrees

rmb to flip them once in awhile to prevent sticking and also to ensure that all are equally done
abt 1 hour later... there this is done!
my mum's comment was "hmm of so many things I have cooked, this is the nicest!" 😋

home cooked western food - CHICKEN + MASH POTATO + BROCOLLI

first attempt cooking western food...
Cos husband crave for potato 🥔 so we decided to make mash potato, then followed by the idea of western food...
here it is, chicken w broccoli and mash potato
how to make mash potato
3 potatoes peeled and cubed
place in boiling water and boil for 20mins
drain dry and slightly mash

add 200ml of milk with a tablespoon of butter progressively while mashing further and mix
add salt and pepper to taste

and you are done!

pan-fry chicken and for broccoli, put in boiling water for few mins and dish out
ready to serve!
the mash potato is abit too watery... so I think should cut down on the amount of milk...
