I chose this cos of pesto... Like the pesto pasta so tried this...

It's so much nicer than the salmon baked rice (white and dry rice, only the top has cheese w salmon.. find it soso)

Could be cos of the "water" from the mushroom, rice is not as dry and there's cheese too! 👍🏼👍🏼 But don't really taste pesto

Fish and chips @ $13.90+

See the smoke as you cut the hit and crispy fish served with fries or wedges

Coslow is good! But abit too little haha!

Chicken chop is nice, with choice of black pepper or teriyaki sauce.. chose black pepper sauce

Chicken is tender and can do without the sauce

Pasta is the same for both, portion is large. Prefer the char grilled chicken to salmon

Had a side to share - truffle mashed potato @ $4.90++

It's without sauce, very soft and smooth potato topped with truffle.. nice! Not too creamy

Add $2.90++ for fresh tomato soup and a drink

Tomato soup comes with 2 slice of lightly toasted bread

Unlike mushroom soup, can't seems to finish the whole bowl by oneself... Maybe cos of the acidicity? Though the bread is not garlic bread but still good

Overall it's quite nice but abit overall meaty even though there's a counter with free flow of kimchi, lettuce, kimchi cucumbers, macaroni salad

Quite a bit of declaration to do, and it's crowded, long q for our luggage collection

Bought WiFi router from klook, and can collect it conveniently at the airport

As we will be heading to USJ tmr, stayed at a hotel near USJ

la’gent hotel osaka bay, abt 5 mins walk from sakurajima station

There's 7-11 and Lawson just nearby

Seems to be quite strict, check in only at 3pm but can leave our luggage there

Head to Nara Park which is just short walk from kintetsu nara station

Just outside the station is higashimuki shopping street, a sheltered street with shops and restaurants

Went to this mochi shop, long q! Was so good the last time we came.. but today is abit disappointed..

It's harder, like normal mochi... Maybe cos it's alr late... It's alr made and packed

lots of veg and chopped peanuts... Adding the sauce is a must! abit of sweet, sourry, spicy.. more of spicy today

HU TIEU XAO HAISAN (stir fry seafood and pork tapioca noodle and vegetables) @ $8.50

Portion is small but it's quite special... Taste quite good but slightly more salty

Noodle is very chewy and nice

Portion is not very large but value for money

Shop is rather small with open space sitting.. and they had expanded to another shop space... Yes more sitting space available 😁

Soup is not just miso only but seems like pork broth

An unique dining experience, by the pool side.. very cooling and you are actually not very close to the next table like most restaurant do

Do not have the fishy smell, nicely seasoned with homemade unagi sauce served with wasabi

The wasabi is not as "hot" as it normally is

This is quite normal... Nothing really special compared to other Japanese restaurant

There's also salted option available.. but we chose this

The fats of the belly are not present on all of them... Feels like some are not belly but close to belly.. suitable for my mum.. hehe she always complain belly is too oily!

Truffle fries @ $12++

It's so good!! Hot and crispy and the truffle is so strong!! Yes so good that we ordered another serving

Chicken shoyu pasta @ $16++

Always have shoyu in ramen but in pasta, this is the first time... 

Something special but it's kind of a mismatch.. haha still feels tt shoyu goes better with ramen but this is something different.. should give it a try at least once

Kurobuta pork belly w homemade teriyaki sauce @ $12++

This was recommended by the staff... And so we gave it a try! It's really good!!!! Soft and tender.. and the important thing is it does not have the meat smell 👍🏼👍🏼 definitely must try!

Sweet potato @ $6++

This is also recommended by the staff, sweet potatoes are imported from a place in Japan that only they serves.. yup, said to have an agreement from the farmer that can sell to Guriru in Singapore.. so only get to eat it here when you're in Singapore. It's also not seasonal, so you don't get to eat it all year round!

I'm not a sweet potato person and I like it!

Looks like the crepe cake that can be found at Charterise but this better! Thick layers of cream, cold and it's so nice!

Looks small and doesn't look appealing but it's good! So much better than we expected it to be.. also cold dessert, chewy mochi coated with sesame and the thick cream at the inside.. so good that we ordered for takeaway

Since we're ordering the sesame one, also gotten the chocolate cream one... It's coated with tiramisu powder and the filling inside is chocolate, not as creamy as sesame.. sesame is more special

12inch and it's big!

Super thin crust, and feel it's under toasted.. both the crust and the ingredients

These are too much for 2... We only had a slice of pizza each and finished the rest 

Overall, feels abit overpriced.. and the food is so so... Only the salmon is nice but at a high cost

I prefer this... Like the "charcoaled" rice and the taste is good! Not too salty..

The rice is special! Kind of butter ride but not like the typical butter rice and there's mushroom! Egg is not very cooked, unlike those in food court

5 mid wings, the skin are sooo crispy and sooo nice, very well seasoned but thirsty an hr or two later... Got the msg feel... So disappointed though so nice

Also had this carrot cake w egg @ $4.. this is very different from the normal carrot cake... Feels like those prawn/peanut pancake skin, stuffed with turnips and coated with a layer of fried egg at the top.. I shall give this a new name 'turnip pancake'

The skin is crispy but also very oily.. don't really like this.. prefer the traditional carrot cake
