we are back again for Vietnamese food!

Char grilled pork chop rice with pig skin @ $10.50

Pork chop is a whole piece with the bone...

My husband likes it but not for me.. Feel the pork is too dry and hard

The small triangular piece believe should be pig skin? It's nice! Soft and taste abit like soy bean mix with some transparent vermicelli and some "unknowns" haha

rice vermicelli with grilled lemongrass chicken @ $7.50 my all time favorite

I like the rice vermicelli! It's really nice! Especially with the sauce, abit of sweet, sourry, spicy

Chicken is nice too! But lemongrass is not very strong.. like it sprinkled with roasted chop peanuts 😋

Today's portion looks huge! But actually it's the lettuce that plays the trick

baguette viet style with grilled chicken chop @ $6 to share.. there are a few options to choose from, i still prefer lemongrass chicken..

Bread is crispy, but don't wait too long cos it will be hard instead of crispy.. Abit spicy.. 

Portion is not very large but value for money

No GST or service charge

Shop is rather small with open space sitting.. and they had expanded to another shop space... Yes more sitting space available 😁

Looks nice, taste also nice.. but not really worth it... @ $7 a set (soup $5.50 + noodle $1.50)

Few options available.. pig liver, fish balls, yuan yang (fish ball + meat balls)

We had yuan yang with noodles...

Soup has lots of minced meat, quite rich in taste.. fishball is soft and chewy, meat ball is special, it's not smooth, seems like handmade 

Can get minced meat noodle easily where there's fishball and meatballs too... 

And there's msg.. an hr + later the thirst comes...

First time trying this vegetarian stall.. serves rice and noodle and bread toast

Truffle la mian @ $8.80

Feels like ramen noodle with truffle, mushroom, black fungus and veg

Ingredient portion is ok, not really very stingy

Rendang curry w blue pea rice @ $8.80

Feel that this is the most worth it! Theres "rendang chicken", peanuts, french bean, an egg, 2 piece toufu and the chilli is good!

Top up $1 or a drink for every set

It's nice! But then feels like there's msg... Ya thirsty....

Pan fried fish w herb sauce @ $10.90++ with 2 choice of sides

Fries is not very oily, not very salty too 

hmm find the sides normal, average

Coleslaw so so only, don't really like

Grilled pepper chicken @ $10.90++

Chicken is not veey tender, baked potato also normal, average... Jack's Place has the best baked potato!! 

Onion ring, also don't have onions.... 

Quite disappointed.. rmb eating at Kovan was not bad one... Different standard or standard drop alr

the previous, grilled pesto chicken is nicer..

the standard of the bread seems to be not as good as the previous..

thin crust with thick bread at the sides 😋

desserts, very limited and it's not really worth, not really good... Chocolate lava cake $10++ (may top $4++ for a scoop of gelato icecream)

It's warm and chocolate lava flowing when you cut the cake but the taste is just not there..

didn't see ppl having desserts.. but most are salads and 4 pcs baguette.. shall try tt next time

Tried their aglio olio, it's very nice too! The non spicy one is not as nice

tried this pesto spaghetti @ $8.90+ today

pesto is bits and pieces everywhere, not the usual whole paste kind... Was abit disappointed at first but nv judge by look!!

I should say it's a combi of aglio olio.... I will definitely come back for this again...

wanted to eat Aston, but Aston is forever long q!!! Yes, was number 18 in the q... Looking across is this is Jap restaurant.. so we decided to give it a try

Short q but waiting time is quite long.. food waiting time is ok and I must say the staff are friendly.. ya greeting every customer and offered extra chair for bag

Food looks nice ya but find it so so

Sakura ebi & chashu curry tsukemen @ $17.90++

Curry is served separately.. so will have to dip the dried ramen into the curry

I like the ebi!

curry is not spicy but oily

ramen is more chewy compared to soup

Special black truffle flavour @ $17.90++

soup is quite bland... But there's the very strong smell of truffle! Yup, maybe the black garlic will be better

Chashu also so so...

noodle is slightly too soft

Can add on salmon sashimi 5pcs @ $5++ for every ramen ordered

Hmm, my husband says so so only.. yaaa and his expression shows it all...

Not really of our liking... Yaaa but still there's ppl eating too!

Afew noodle choices, but this is what is sis wanted and recommended.... It's nice!!! Though looks thick but it's chewy.. her recommendation is always trustable
