FRIED HOKKIEN PRAWN MEE + WANTON MEE @ old airport road food centre

its the 3rd day dine-in is open! but only to fully vanccinated for f&b establishments... so we can only choose hawker and coffee shops... so we came to Old Airport Road Food Centre to have some nice hawker food!

this stall is very famous and the waiting time is soooo long! you dont see the long q cos the uncle will issue a "beep" for dine-in and paper for takeaways

finally food is here! after abt half an hr wait

this is small $5, and theres big $8

its more of a dry fried prawn Hokkien Mee

what i like this the more ratio of bee hoon compared to yellow noodle

hmm, dont think its worth the long wait...

according to my husband, this is a famous wanton mee stall!! but sadly its closed today

so we tried this another stall which looks pretty famous too!

wanton is nice, char siew is normal

noodle is springy... nice!

they offer a wide of noodles... looks good ya? shall try a different type of noodle next time!

saw this stall, reminds me of a scissors curry rice which i had many years back at Macpherson... shall come and try this next time!

This stall located at the back entrance... attracted my attention by it's bright colored signboard and the q... Ya when I return to take pic there's no q alr

It's a halal western stall, reasonable priced and the portion is really big! Yes, for $6, get to choose a base (Aglio olio or butter rice), protein ( fish or chicken), 2 sides and sauce

We had both Aglio olio as the base cos buttered rice has ran out

grilled fish with sides --- fries, coleslaw

crispy fish, with sides --- mashed potatoes, garlic bread

Garlic bread I believe is self prepared... Very strong pranta taste...

portion is so huge tt we shared 1 portion of Aglio olio, proteins and sides... Yup, even my husband a big eater cannot finish it!

i find the food so so... Very very salty, especially the pasta... Fish too is too salty, fries with salt.. yup only the mash potatoes is not

Hmmmm at first was thinking maybe next time we will come back for other food but after we had our dinner.. had a second thought.... Really too salty

 Finally I get to eat my longgggg craved volcano rice.....

But the standard seems to be different alr.. 😔.. kind of disappointed.... But it's still nice 

Minced pork with spicy sauce, to be poured over seaweed fried rice on a hot plate..

Now I prefer chicken risotto which I had few weeks ago

Also tried Ppong, Ro Ppong-Roje... It's actually creamy tomato 🍅 based soup... It's very cheesy... Yup.. if you like 🧀, this is a must have... But my husband says the normal tomato 🍅 soup is better 😄

Also had Lychee yoghurt drink... 500ml !! So much for 2 pax!

It's rich in lychee, don't really taste much yoghurt

 My long long craving... Finally I get the permission to eat volcano rice, but sadly is out of stock.... But I found something else... Soi Chicken Risotto... This is very nice too!!! Recommended by my sis.... 
Unlike the normal risotto I see... This is dry, sticky Japanese rice... Jeju soy sauce with chicken, cabbage and onions topped with botino flakes and mayo.... 😋
And the tomato 🍅 Ppong... Not spicy today, unlike the previous times... Still I like the chewy ppong noodles!!
However, the milk tea is not available alr... Yaaa, it's nice to drink the milk tea with ppong tgt!!!

Food is not bad, quite nice... Prefer the minced meat noodle... The meatball is nice
Yong tau foo is nice too but find it abit too oily

Husband given ourselves 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟

stir fry chopped garlic followed by onions then add brown button mushrooms

when its cooked, add in tomato sauce and a bit of water, cook till hot and its ready!

this is the tomato sauce we're using... taste is good but its abit too salty, should add slightly more water

used wholemeal spiral pasta... wholemeal is indeed not as nice but a healthier choice! half a bag of pasta, a bottle of sauce, a box of mushroom

WOLF BURGER @ funan mall

had Wolf Burger sometime back at Suntec City Pasarbella, and the lemongrass chicken burger is fantastic!! Served with fries 🍟

however, seems like the menu has changed or it's the branch, now burger is served ala carte and choices quite limited if you don't take beef

Teriyaki Chicken Burger @ $7.90

Impossible Burger @ $13.90

it's the first time im trying impossible burger... hmmmm actually prefer real meat, just feels abit weird

the bread smells sooo nice!!! And I prefer bun for Impossible Burger 😋

Of cos after trying this 2 burgers, still prefer the lemongrass chicken... shall go check at Suntec City Pasarbella if they still have it

 a very small shop near Lorong Ah Soo Market & Food Centre

looks good and taste good too!! baguette topped with assorted flavors

here are blueberry, cookies and cream, tiramisu, matcha, red velvet and cheese

supposed to toast it before eating, but i had it just by itself.. crispy baguette and lava

and fridged it for the next day.. prefer it this way... the lava is hard, abit like ice cream 

priced at $3 each, 2 for $4 and 6 for $11.. finds it abit overpriced if were to get just 1 or 2

its only open Fri-Sun 10am~430pm

long long q at this Lor Mee stall
a large bowl @ $3.50, quite reasonable

hmm I find it average.. not really worth the q
what's special is there's no pork but shredded chicken
feel theres a missing "Lor" taste

and also had this zui kuey which is just few stalls away... not bad.. its hot and soft
the "cai pou" is also not too salty

SOD Cafe.. yes, im back again. a small cafe located at Ci Yuan CC... Serves pasta, western, pizza, desserts

a large piece of chicken chop topped with mashed potato 🥔!! thought was cheese 🧀 😅
Everything is served hot! And it's so nice 😋

serves ham, sausage, toast, egg and wedges... All the processed food.. so unhealthy but it's nice!

It's normal cheese cake with passion fruit cubes in it... Prefer the chocolate Galaxy cake

first time trying Greendot, a vegetarian restaurant which I see quite a few outlets across the island
There's burgers, local food, bentos, noodles... I see most diners eating bento and noodles so we tried this..

handmade laska yong tau foo

don't really eat the ingredients such as eggplant 🍆, chilli, ladies finger... so nothing much left for me in this bowl... but the soup is nice! not very thick coconut which I prefer

rendang lion mane mushroom bento 🍄 🍱 

each bento comes with soup  and the soup is nice! Sweetness from the fresh ingredients 😋

Like the rendang lion mane mushroom too!!! The rendang sauce goes so well with the sesame rice.. and sauce is not very spicy



Will come back again to try other dishes in the menu! you can customize your own bento too

An evening walk from buangkok crescent to punggol park on a Sat evening, wanting to try the food at a bistro there.. went few mths ago on a Fri night and it's so long q and on a long waiting list
We were earlier this time and lucky enough to have the last few seats
Mostly Western food and pasta
We had chicken chop with different sauce mushroom and black pepper garlic @ $15.80++
Tender perfectly grilled chicken with potato salad..
Truffle fries @ $7.80++
Yummy smoothie @ $7++ strong mango 🥭 taste
Food takes abt 30+mins to be served
I see fish and chips being served from the kitchen quite frequently... Should be a popular dish!
